About Jill
Hey there! I’m Jill!
First and foremost, a boy mom who married my 2nd grade crush, a middle sister, beach lover, farmers market regular, novice gardener, kitchen dancer, terrible singer and enthusiast for flavorful meals and fresh fruit in season.
Ripe organic bartlett pears are the absolute best. No debate.
And also…I want every woman to know the good news that it IS possible to experience true freedom from weighing, dieting, obsessing, counting, and living in a body with pent-up blame, guilt, shame, overwhelm, stress and victimhood.
At age 20, I found herself completely malnourished, profoundly depressed, and fighting the most intense eating disorder. With an open and willing heart in pursuit of healing, I discovered the power of non-conventional therapies and of honest prayer that deeply changed and healed me from the inside-out, discovering lasting freedom with food and body.
No more counting, obsessing, dieting, restricting or weighing.
This was the birthplace of this work and my membership and every course I’ve ever created.
It has fueled my desire to help women unable from pressure, perfection, food spirals and overwhelm to create lasting mindful transformation with food and body and mind and heart.
And not only that but to discover for yourself what it means to live a truly nourished lifestyle.
Not just with food, but all parts of you.
Mind. Body. Heart. Relationships. Habits. Daily rhythms.
To be guided by what you value and what’s truly most important to you.
It isn’t a quick fix.
But it doesn’t have to be.
I will hold space for the deep work to be done and walk alongside you, exactly where you are, with curiosity, kindness, love, grace, and undivided attention.
The professional resume:
I studied Exercise Science and Psychology at Hope College. After graduating, I worked as a Wellness Education Coordinator at one of the top corporate wellness departments in the country for five years before returning to school to study at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City where I became a Certified Holistic Health Coach for the last 20 years.
I went on to study Eating Psychology under Marc David at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating.
I am certified at the Mastery level of the Transformational Coaching Method and a certified Life Coach through The Life Coach School.
I am the co-founder of The Nourish to Flourish Society which guided over 2000 women through their signature 14-day Seasonal Reset program back in 2016.
Over the past 20 years, I have served over 3000 women in my private practice and group programs and it is my deep desire to inspire you to show up fully for yourself with honesty, authenticity, curiosity, and kindness.
Recently, I compiled all my courses, masterclasses, programs, recipes, meal plans and coaching expertise and combined it all together in a wellness hub for women called The Nourished Woman Lifestyle membership.
It is grounded by my signature framework: The Stillpoint Practice.
My desire: to create a communal space for women to learn, grow, break unwanted eating patterns, overcome stress and overwhelm, and become empowered women who practice a nourished lifestyle with joy, ease and confidence.
I am mom to three teenager boys, dog mom to sweet Mags, and married my high school sweetheart, Ryan. I live in a lakeside town along the gorgeous Lake Michigan Lakeshore.
